Coins for a Cure

There's a very simple way to raise money for mitochondrial disease research. It’s so easy even a child can do it— and a lot of them do. It's true. The project is called "Coins for a Cure" and it's as easy as 1, 2, 3! Schools, churches and local youth groups accept collections for a set period of time and in many cases, the group organizing the most is rewarded for their efforts. The "Coins for a Cure" program shows children that they can make a difference in the world through their actions, one coin at a time.

The Special Events Department will provide you with sample flyers, collection stickers, correspondence and support through the event planning process.
